Those who know me know how much I love red!
Maybe it’s the blood flowing through my veins, my team or the passion that it incites, anyway, it’s my favourite colour (after dark blue) that my mother so obsessively dressed me in during my childhood. And after over twenty years I discovered the colour of fire once again; I began wearing it again, very timidly at first, as I saw that it is rather beautiful in contrast to the faded colour of my eyes, hair and skin.
Better late than never as they say. That’s how my love story with red began, and believe me, I have worn it every season, choosing red for shoes even in the winter season (albeit in darker shades).
The shoe I chose for this summer was a red leather sandal espadrille with a rope like inner sole and leather outer sole.
The upper leather was a fiery red with bright gold buckles and eyelets.
The feeling of the rope bottomed sole on foot was extremely enjoyable, like wearing espadrilles.
I pair them with a simple t-shirt with the “c'est la life” logo and a red used skirt with a front zip that I love to wear along.
A red belt and a red quilted bag with golden details in completed this perfect morning casual outfit.
Yes, I finally admit that deep down I'm very red. Maybe it's about living with passion - so only that colour can understand me!
How much red are you?
