When people hear I'm going on a trip to Milan for an exhibition, they think it's all fun and games and when I try to explain how hard these trips really are, they don't seem to understand.
I don’t think that anyone can understand unless they go through it at least once.
Visiting an exhibition means two or three days of uninterrupted walking in the pavilions exploring trends, materials, constructions, with the afternoons, devoted to photographing this season's shoes at the store windows.
For the duration of these three days, if you don’t wear comfortable shoes you will add another problem to your already tired feet and you may not be able to carry out the day's schedule.
I usually prefer to wear sports shoes for this hard work but this year I have chosen to wear a pair of sock booties, a hot trend for this season. Of course, I took with me a pair of athletic shoes but in this case, I did not need them.
The sock booties were so light and comfortable that I felt like I was wearing no shoes at all. Not only that, they were also very stylized and easily combined with skirts and trousers.
It's so perfect when fashion & comfort are combined!
My sock shoes were Zara.
